On Friday 19th March 1999 I went to the RAG Ball which was held at the Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher Education, Park Campus. The Ball featured a band called TrueBRIT which had in it's line-up the two people who perform as THE CHIP SHOP BOYS (see reports for May 22nd and November 20th 1998).

The band performed songs from all the well known Brit-pop bands of the 90s like OASIS, BLUR, DODGY, STEREOPHONICS, and OCEAN COLOUR SCENE.

The songs were performed very well but I wish the microphones had been set up better for the vocals.

My favourite performance of the night was THE DAY WE CAUGHT THE TRAIN, originally a hit for OCEAN COLOUR SCENE.
